This 1/2 apron has two layers for extra fluff. The bottom layer is muslim with red velvet trim. The top layer is a pretty cool generic fabric with birdies, hearts, flowers and a blue/gold ribbon trim. Reminds me a bit of India. I embroidered a tea cup on the pocket and used gingham fabric with a blue rick rack ribbon. I then embroidered the waistline with "1 lump or 2?" in a light pink, which makes it hard to see in the picture. The back view shows the ties are made of both the top layer of fabric and gingham. Cute, if you ask me. Although, I'm probably biased.
